Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve compiled a list of answers to common questions.
- How much does it cost for a student to use Unisocs?
Nothing. Not a penny. Unisocs is completely free to students, all you have to do is sign up here and start tracking your study.
- How do I begin tracking my study?
Once you’ve signed up using your .ac.uk email address & respective institution, you can start tracking by adding a module using the button to the left of the dashboard screen. Input the name & recommended hours of study of the module, and begin tracking!
- Where can I find my recommended hours of study?
For university students, your recommended hours of study should be given to you as part of the module specification breakdown. If you haven’t been given it, ask your lecturer or tutor. For college students, either set your own personal target or ask your teacher to get a good idea.
- How does the tutor feedback work?
If your university or college does not have a Unisocs membership, you will unfortunately not have access to the tutor feedback system and the box will be greyed out. If your institution does have a membership, simply insert your tutor’s email address into the box and continue to track your study as normal. Your tutor will receive weekly feedback and should catch up with you regularly to make sure that you’re on track.
